Tiffin Ohio Senior Pictures
Morgan, a recent graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School, has a lovely sense of style that translated well in her senior portrait session. Her autumn senior portraits set was to take place in her home town of Tiffin, Ohio. Areas of focus hit on her interests, and on some of the more picturesque areas around town.
Having Fun Capturing Senior Pictures with Cats
To kick things off, we met at Morgan’s home to capture a few quick indoor images with her beloved kitties. As anyone with a cat knows, their willingness to participate in such activities is always in question, but Morgan’s cats actually did quite well. Their home boasts some beautiful natural light, which made these gorgeous shots possible.
Shooting Senior Pictures in Downtown Areas
When incorporating both in-town and rural settings into a session, I will almost always shoot the town shots first and then move into the more open, rural setting as the sun fades. Morgan’s session was no exception. We traveled next to a location on the steps of a local church. This particular spot had lovely light and beautiful texture/color that complemented Morgan’s dress and boots well.
After a quick change, we moved around the corner to the East side of the building where the light (and backlight!) were superb.
Another quick change into this fun and funky ensemble, and a hop deeper into the downtown area yielded these gems!
Organic Settings for Senior Portraits
Switching gears, we moved to a green space along the river where we were able to capture this softly lit set.
Finishing Up with Sunset Senior Portraits
As the sun was beginning to set, we made our way to the track out next to the Paradiso Atheletic Fields. At the entrance, there is access to a beautiful trail through some wildflower fields. Along the other side of the entrance, this stack of pallets was calling our name.
Morgan added this amazing cape/sweater to her outfit for some visual punch as we moved into the deep grasses along the trail.
Track Senior Pictures at Sunset
Our final set captured this important aspect of Morgan’s high school experience. Track senior pictures were on her “must include” list, and I love the drama the sunset lighting gave these images.
Many thanks to Morgan and her mom Nikki for a fun session and all-around wonderful work experience. Morgan, best of luck with your studies at Ohio Wesleyan University this year!
