This gorgeous group came to me from California for a summery family portrait session. Sheena is an Ohio native and wanted her hometown as the backdrop for her session. Believe it or not, there are a lot of great locations around town for those wanting family pictures in Fostoria!
We met for our first set downtown in front of the mural depicting the history of our little Midwest town. On the heels of a rainstorm, we had a series of nice big puddles to play with and a reflection shot seemed like a great way of taking advantage.
After the brief stop downtown, we moved to a local park for more open green space. We worked through a series of images of the whole family on the grassy hill.
Then we got everyone comfortable for a series of seated images. Baby Sloane seemed to be enjoying herself!
A few shots as a group on the park bench, and then Andy and Sheena each got a turn with their little munchkin.
To me, the relationship between parents is every bit as important to capture in a family portrait session. This stunning couple shared just the right amount of emotion with me to yield these beautiful images.
Next I spent a little time with Sloane to capture her abundance of personality close-up.
After a little rest for the baby, we reconnected for this final set in our own neighborhood.
Many thanks to this lovely family for our time together. I love the results of this session and hope we get the chance to work together again next time you are in town!
