Gorgeous Emma. Love this kid; a true go-getter with big plans. Emma is another of my Team EIGHTEEN girls, and I am so glad to have had her as a part of this inaugural group. Just a week ago, Emma departed for Texas and the USAF. I know how proud her parents must be!
Rewinding a little, let me walk you through some highlights of our time together. During our team intro session last spring, the girls and I spent some time getting to know each other a bit, capturing some group images, and then turning to individual shots. Emma is clearly a beauty and I loved how she was able to loosen up and have fun in front of the camera.
Early in summer, I acquired some new portable lighting equipment and asked for volunteers to model as I practiced my setup. Emma raised her hand, and the resulting images are spectacular!
Later in the summer months, we met at the Toledo Botanical Garden for Emma’s solo Signature senior portrait session. I love this location for the variety of scenery and the blissful LACK of poison ivy LOL. The day of Emma’s session was perfect; manageable temperatures and beautiful light.
One of Emma’s favorite friends came along for the session, and when we changed locations to Side Cut Metropark, we captured a few of the two of them together before we wrapped up.
Our next team activity took us to Maumee Bay State Park. When the group imagery was captured, I turned my attention to individual shots. Emma brought her little sister along, so catching a few sweet shots of them together was a highlight.
The final team activity Emma was able to participate in was a studio lighting test. Emma brought several dresses to round our her gallery with some polish.
Emma, I immensely enjoyed having you as a part of Team EIGHTEEN this year, and wish you tremendous success as you pursue your dreams. I admire your drive and determination and am certain great things are in store for you!
