What to Expect

WHAT TO EXPECT

My specialty is the custom creation of artistic, expressive portraits. My sessions are relaxed and unhurried; this experience should be fun rather than stressful! Just be yourself and let me do the rest!

Outdoor sessions are typically held in the late afternoon or early evening (depending on the season), dependent upon your selected session duration. You may choose to bring extra clothing, accessories or personal items to achieve different looks throughout the session.

The location(s) of your session will play an important part in the overall look and feel of your final images and should be given due consideration. I have a number of suggestions depending on your preferences, both urban and rural. I encourage choosing locations that have a special meaning or will lend to the intended style of your session. Indoor studio sessions are also an option; we will work through these logistical details and more in your consultation meeting.

If there are poor weather conditions on the day of your outdoor session, such as rain or high winds, we will need to reschedule. The same applies if you or your child is sick on the day of your session. In either circumstance, I will work with you to reschedule as soon as possible.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Upon conclusion of your session, I will hand select and edit the images that will be presented for your review, a process that takes two to three weeks. When your images are ready, I will load your gallery to the Client Galleries section of this site and send you a link with password to access. We will follow up with a phone call with any questions and to discuss any custom add-on products you may wish to order.
